a B2B SaaS operations platform and a D2C discovery marketplace - for India's boutique,
tailoring, and fashion services industry.
Our client came to us with an ambitious vision: digitise India's boutique and tailoring
industry end-to-end. Not a website. Not an app. An entire ecosystem where designers,
boutiques, tailors, service providers, and customers all operate in one place.
Fragmented Operations
Boutiques ran orders, measurements, billing, and customer records on paper, WhatsApp, and memory - with no structured system built for how tailoring businesses actually work.
No Digital Storefront
Building an online store meant expensive agencies or generic platforms that don't understand stitching orders, alterations, fabric pickups, or custom measurements.
No Discovery Channel
Customers had no single destination to find boutiques, tailors, beauticians, and rental services near them - and vendors had no marketplace to be found on.
The objective: a full 360° cover of the fashion ecosystem - B2B tooling for every vendor,
D2C commerce for every customer, and platform operations connecting the two. Comparable in ambition to
building Shopify and Etsy at the same time, purpose-built for one industry.
